I have a love for the kitchen. I looove making hearty meals for my family. I found it quite a challenge delving into Veganuary because as I was reading food labels I was getting so frustrated.
I just didn’t have the energy to deal with all the stripping away I’d have to do to sustain a completely preservative free, sugar free and ‘all the nonsense we eat’ free vegan diet.
Hubby and I did Veganuary and we thoroughly enjoyed the benefits of a clear body and mind.
Chef Pali guided our process and I’m happy to share some of the learnings we got from her. She also has an ebook out on Vegan recipes on her page @chefpali_pali on IG
I love how she is nutrition conscious and all her food prep strives to retain the nutrition as much as possible whilst tasting delectable.
In part 1 we make broth. And in parts to follow, we’ll be making
– Cous Cous
– Quinoa – Chickpea and Butternut Stew
– Roast Carrot Hummus (and Tehini) – Polenta Chips
I love how all these recipes are safe for baby too.
