Growing up homemade chili was probably one of my favourite meals my Grandmother made! Chili with beef and beans, you can’t go wrong. This is a chili recipe that is inspired by my Grandma, but I wanted to kick it up a notch with some nourishing veggies! I also wanted to create a chili recipe that going to be an easy toddler meal for busy parents. Because I get it, not everyone has a few hours on their hands to make gourmet meals, especially parents who have toddlers!

Chili is such a healthy dinner or lunch idea for kids. Beans are rich in fibre and even some beans and legumes contain good amounts of protein when paired with rice to make complete proteins! Beef is a great source of fat and protein. Oh, and I can’t forget the veggies, those are packed with vitamins and mineral to support health and wellness.
This chili recipe is a great toddler food idea especially for a growth 3 year old. I know mine devours chili when ever I make it!

What you will need to make the magic:
Organic ground beef (half a pound)- WHOLE FOODS
1 onion- ANY GROCERY STORE
1 jar of tomato sauce- JAR OVER CAN
1 can of beans OR dried beans soaked
1 tbsp cumin
1 ½ teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt & pepper add as you cook
